June 6, 2017: John Tippett is currently the Interim Fire Chief and previously served as the Deputy Chief of Operations. Chief Tippett came to Charleston shortly after the Sofa Super Store fire from Washington D.C. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science and Master’s in Fire Service Operations. The historic Rotary Club of Charleston meets on Tuesdays at 12:30PM. There are two ways to join us:

In-person meetings are held at the Hall’s Signature Events, 5 Faber Place, in downtown Charleston. Lunch service begins at noon and the opening bell is at 12:30. Click to learn more and for directions.
