Blood Drive: Charleston PD
Fellow Rotarian – Please join us on January, 28th (Wednesday) at the Charleston Police Department between 10:00AM – 3:00PM for a blood drive with The Blood Connection. The Blood Connection is a non-profit blood center whose mission is to support local healthcare partners with adequate, safe, and cost-effective blood supplies and services. By choosing to donate blood, you will be giving back to our community in two ways:
- Your donation is supplied to local area hospitals and has the ability to save up to three (3) lives; the recipients are our friends, families, and neighbors.
- If we exceed eighteen (18) participants, our Rotary Club will receive a monetary donation from The Blood Connection in return; the Club uses these funds to further support service projects throughout the year within our communities.
How to Sign Up: Please either scan the QR code in the attached flyer or follow the link below to sign-up for your desired appointment on the 28th. Appointments are not required, you may walk up, but they are strongly encouraged.

Important Notes: Donors are not required to be Rotarians; however, donors are required to be 16 years or older and weigh over 110 lbs. Written parental consent is required for 16 year olds. A photo ID is required to donate, regardless of age. All donors will receive $30 in rewards that may be redeemed through major retailers.
