Rotary Educator of the Month Program

After an extended winter hiatus, we began again this week our recognition of outstanding educators at Mitchell Elementary.  Our November 2024 honoree is Ms. Tyra Wigfall, who is a special education teacher assistant.  Ms. Wigfall is always willing to assist with any task she is asked to complete.  She invests time in making meaningful relationships with the students and is an amazing co-worker and friend of everyone at Mitchell.  Our December 2024 honoree is Coach Jenna Lamb.  Coach Lamb is no stranger to Rotary as she has been recognized by us before.  She is helpful in all areas around the building and does an amazing job at her morning and afternoon duty spots.  And Rotary is honored to be one of the first organizations to learn that Coach Lamb has just been nominated as the Mitchell Elementary Teacher of the year for 2025-2026!  As always excellence in education is on display at the Rotary Club of Charleston.
